The Primary Purpose of the Global Day of Prayer is to have a day of repentance and prayer where we will ask the Lord to forgive our sins, for the restoration of the church and for the healing of the nations.

All nations are encouraged to unite in prayer for one day a year to stand before the Lord on the basis of the 2 Scripture verses i.e. 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land", and Habbakkuk 2:14 "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."

Vision : The Glory of Christ and the Blessing of the Nations, based on Habbakkuk 2:14

Mission : To call Christians from all nations to unite in repentance and prayer, and to collaborate as God's instruments for the blessing of the nations based on 2 Chronicles 7:14.


Statement of faith : The Apostles' Creed - I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN.
